Dynasty bids farewell to Tampa with one last show

Dynasty bids farewell

Local hip-hop artist Dynasty is on her way to Hollywood, but before she goes she will grace Tampa with one more performance.

Dynasty bids farewell

Originally from New York, Diana “Dynasty” Hardy came to Tampa in 2004 and quickly became acclimated to the area’s underground hip-hop community. She formally “blew up” in 2008 after opening a show for now-defunct hip-hop trio Little Brother.

Since then, she’s continued to build her popularity in various shows while growing a following in Europe. She’s also devoted to being a motivational speaker to children, particularly young ladies.

In 2017, she achieved another milestone with the debut of a one-woman show built around a mix of music and monologues.

Now she’ll perform the show one more time at 3 p.m. on Saturday (April 26) at The Space, 2106 W Main Street. Admission is free but guests are asked to give a donation.

Hardy has previously said the show touches on a few of the experiences that many may not know about her. She continues to persevere and she will soon have some new chapters when she leaves for Los Angeles this summer.

She’s hopeful of growing her career and reaching a larger audience in the City of Angels.
