Dreams-of-dali

Walt Disney and Salvador Dali Exhibit

The Disney Dali Exhibit is open January 23 – June 12, 2016
Enjoy the remarkable marriage of art and technology in Dreams of Dali, a virtual reality experience.

Travel inside and beyond Dali’s 1935 painting Archaeological Reminiscence of Millet’s “Angelus” to explore the world of the Surrealist master like never before in this immersive virtual reality experience, venturing into the towers, peering from them to distant lands and discovering surprises around every corner. We imagine Dali himself, known in his lifetime as what we now call an “earlier adopter” of new technology, would applaud this inspiring homage to his 1935 painting.

Open daily from 11am-4pm (until 8pm on Thursdays), Dreams of Dali is included with admission to the Museum. The last passes for the day are given out at 3:30pm (and 7:30pm respectively); seating is limited; wait times will vary.

This award-winning VR experience has garnered visitor acclaim, online praise and international recognition through a multitude of industry awards, including the prestigious Cannes Cyber Lion GOLD; a Webby People’s Voice award; and a Facebook Silver award for Innovation, among others.

When you can’t visit The Dali in person, or wish to share the experience, please view the companion 360° video. We recommend viewing on an Android with Google Cardboard or another VR device or on an iPhone via the YouTube app. From a desktop PC or tablet, we recommend viewing in the latest version of Chrome.

Headsets used to experience Dreams of Dali are one-size-fits-all; Oculus Rift does not recommend their headsets for children under 14.
